Macworld Expo and Diggnation, together at last!

OH MAN! Macworld starts a week from Tuesday! As an Apple fan boy I'm just giddy at the thought of it. New Mac Pro's with two 4 core CPU's! New iPhone (iMobile??) handheld, the release of the iTV, and a Keynotes speak by Steve Jobs! And if that wasn't enough Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht are going to be filming Diggnation live from Macworld. Why am I stuck in Boston!!

oh well, enjoy the linkage.

East Boston here I come!

So after looking at a few apartments in Boston and Cambridge I have found a new apartment! East Boston near the waterfront and walking distance to the T stop. Not to shabby and it's way better then my last shit hole in Allston. I'll post some pictures of the new place once I've painted and moved in. Any one with Ikea stock will be happy for me. I'm going to look for a new bed, night stand, TV stand, yadda, yadda, yadda...

It's strange to think of moving out. I'll have my kitty Missy but that's it. Just me and the cat. She won't notice the difference but I'm not sure how I'll do.

God damn this is soooooo true...

So in highschool I played the cello, and I did for part of college just for the hell of it (there were one or two cute cello players). And this song will ring true for any cello player...

Enjoy, Irish

Reason for the title

Hey there,
So i'm at a big turning point in my life. I've been engaged with my ex for a year but we've decide to call it off and to go our separate ways. I won't get into the reasons but it is for the better. Our lease is up (read: our landlord is selling our building) so this is a good time for new beginnings.

So i'm at the fork in my life; I can get a new apartment with the same setup, change my surroundings to a different part of Boston, keep going to the same job, and go out with my friends. Or I can try a totally new type of life with my next apartment, try a totally new neighborhood in Boston, look for a new job, and reconnect with my friends. I just don't want to repeat what i've done for the past 3 years. It was a great time and i'll never forget it (nor would i want to) but I want something different this time. Go left, or way left.

Part of that something different is starting this blog and keeping it up to date with whatever I would like. I'll update my life, what's going on, I'll post some stuff i find at Digg.com, and some cool pics that I see.

Recommendations are always welcome for sites around Boston to goto and visit. I'm a fan of Pubs and live banks!
